La Maison de Bitasta – Guest Guidelines
A Heritage Homestay with a Personal Touch
At La Maison de Bitasta, we open our doors and hearts to those who seek comfort, charm, and calm. As you prepare to spend time in our home, these simple guidelines will help ensure a harmonious experience for you and for others who share this space.
Arrival & Departure
• Check-in: 1.00 PM
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Please present a valid passport or ID at check-in. We are a registered homestay and welcome guests from India and around the world.
Foreign Nationals: Please share a copy of your passport and visa (photo or scan) for C-Form registration.
Indian Nationals: A valid government-issued ID is required.
We only accept: Aadhar Card, Driving License and Passport.
Booking with Us
• One booking per guest/group is accepted for the intended stay.
• For extensions, please contact us directly or visit our website.
• For bookings made on online travel platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, etc.), full payment is required within 24 hours from the time of booking to secure the reservation. In the absence of timely payment, the reservation will be released and offered to other guests.
• Bookings made with promotional codes or for the holiday season (15th Dec – 17th Jan) are non-refundable and non-modifiable.
Cancellation & Modification Policy
• Please note: Cancellations or date modifications made less than 21 days prior to check-in are 100% chargeable.
• No refunds or date changes are permitted within this 21-day window.
• We encourage guests to review their plans carefully before confirming a booking.
No Shows
In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the booking will be considered cancelled and the room may be released. No refunds will be provided.
Group Stays
To preserve the peaceful spirit of our home:
• We host individuals, couples, and small families (up to 4 guests).
• Large group bookings are not permitted unless arranged directly with us by phone at +91 8438735754 or +91 94433 23324.
• Separate bookings intended to form a group may be cancelled or declined without refund.
Host & Guest Relations
We are available from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM to assist with your needs, offer recommendations, or simply share stories about the home and the city. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
House Guidelines
Quiet Hours
• Kindly keep noise levels low from 10:30 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Loud music or gatherings are not permitted in guest or shared spaces.
Shared Spaces
• Our verandahs, courtyards, and common areas are to be enjoyed respectfully.
• Please leave them tidy and peaceful for the next guest.
Meals & Dining
• Breakfast is served every morning from 8:30 AM to 9.30 AM.
• Lunch and dinner are available with 24 hours’ notice and will be charged based on your order. No cancellation/refund will be accepted once the order is placed.
• Kindly inform us in advance of any dietary needs or allergies.
Amenities
• Laundry Service: Available and chargeable per item. Clothes are returned within 24 hours.
• Wi-Fi: Complimentary and available throughout the home.
• Filtered drinking water is available for all guests.
• Housekeeping: Rooms are cleaned every alternate day to ensure a comfortable stay.
• Towels: Fresh towels are provided and replaced on request.
Visitors
• To respect the privacy of all guests, outside visitors are not permitted in rooms. We do not allow any non-registered visitors on the premises.
• Daytime enquiries or brief visits should be limited to the common/reception areas.
Safety & Personal Belongings
• The premises are secure and family members are usually present.
• However, we recommend storing valuables safely in your room.
• La Maison de Bitasta cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal items.
Preserving Our Heritage
• Our home features antiques, heirlooms, and handmade décor.
• We request that all guests treat these items with care and respect.
• Any damage to furnishings, fabrics, or artwork may incur repair or replacement costs.
Alcohol, Smoking & Substances
• Responsible alcohol consumption is allowed in guest rooms and common areas. We simply ask that it does not disturb the comfort and peace of other guests, especially during quiet hours.
• Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas — please ask us.
• We maintain a strict no-drugs policy. Any violation will lead to immediate dismissal without refund.
Right of Admission
We welcome kindred spirits who value serenity, stories, and the spirit of a lived-in home.
La Maison de Bitasta reserves the right of admission and may revise policies at its discretion.
