Little Bird Homes, Dharamkot
Hotel Information
Little Bird Homes is a self-catering guesthouse in Dharamkot, Himachal Pradesh — seven rooms across two buildings, six of them with their own kitchenettes. We built it for a specific kind of stay: not a weekend, but a week or more, with the freedom to cook your own meals and settle in on your own schedule.
The property sits in Dharamkot village proper, close to everything the area offers, in a setting that still manages to stay quiet. Between the two buildings is a shared garden with oak trees and a Himalayan cherry blossom that turns extraordinary when it flowers in March. There's a common dining area and a terrace worth getting up early for.
We're a ten-minute walk from The Birdhouse Retreat, our first guesthouse in the cedar forest above McLeodganj, and two minutes from The Birdhouse Cakery, our café — where this whole thing started back in 2018. Dharamkot Studio is five to ten minutes away.
Little Bird Homes opened in 2025, the newest addition to The Birdhouse Hospitality — a small portfolio of design-conscious mountain stays built and run by people who actually live here. If you've stayed with us before, you'll recognise the ethos: no generic hospitality language, no corporate polish, just well-made rooms in a place worth being.
Book direct for the best rate, or reach us on WhatsApp at +91 931 732 3395 if you have questions before you arrive.
