About Us: Welcome to The Birdhouse Hospitality, a small business run by a husband and wife duo and their furry friends. We take pride in offering our guests a warm and welcoming experience when you’re staying with us at any of our locations in Bir, Dharamkot or Mcleodganj, or are just visiting us for a bite at The Birdhouse Cakery in Dharamkot.

Our journey began in 2018 when we opened The Birdhouse Cakery in Dharamkot, a cozy café offering delicious baked goodies. We quickly fell in love with the hospitality industry and decided to expand our business in 2021 with The Birdhouse Retreat, a beautiful bed and breakfast nestled on top of the Dharamkot mountain, offering unparalleled access to the natural beauty of the surrounding area. In 2022, we opened The Birdhouse Villa, Bir, a stylish and cozy bed and breakfast located in the heart of Bir town. We are proud to offer our guests a unique and memorable experience, with each of our properties boasting its own unique character and charm. We quickly expanded in 2023 to a beautiful property located in the heart of Mcleodganj, which we call The Bougainvillea. In 2024, we again spread our wings and have opened a new country house in Dharamkot, calling it Blue Magpie Homes as an ode to one of the most recognizable and beautiful birds of the region, the Yellow-billed Blue Magpie.

We are a small business that takes great pride in providing our guests with the best possible experience. We believe that every guest is unique, and we strive to make every stay a special one. Our furry friends also play a big part in our business, and they are always eager to greet our guests with a wagging tail.
